Enroot Development Consultancy is now hiring a Junior Accountant
Job Purpose
Junior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and providing support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
Duties And Tasks
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Assist with other accounting projects
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
0-1 Year of Experience in related field
Accounting and Finance Principles Knowledge
Excellent computer skills in common word processing (MS Word), and data processing (MS Excel)
Skills
Ability to work within a team in a professional environment with high level of commitment, accountability, and result orientation
Ability to work independently, quickly, precisely, and take initiative and responsibility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong observation skills and keen attention to detail
Strong personal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and client orientation.
Work Conditions
Working Hours: From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fridays & Saturdays are off
Work Location: El-Mokattam
