Operations Coordinator
About the job

Careem Express is a new vertical in the Careem Ecosystem. Express focuses on solving last mile delivery challenges for various industries including food, grocery, e-commerce, retail and others. We are a start-up within a start-up that looks to simplify and improve the delivery experiences of our merchants and end-customers.
WHAT DO WE DO IN EXPRESS?
We deliver things! Our clients are businesses and we act as their outsourced fleet. Our client’s portfolio Includes or included previously
E-Commerce: Amazon, Goodsmart, etc.
Groceries: Alfa Market, Seoudi, Bassem Market, etc.
Food: McDonald’s, KFC, Hardees, Pizza Hut, Bazooka, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible For, But Not Limited To The Below
Reporting & Analysis with the aim of guiding the team to the best results on the merchants, captains and suppliers’ sides.
Invoicing & Trips reconciliation with merchants.
Handling escalations and negotiations with merchants and suppliers.
Planning for growth and cost optimization in coordination with the Operation Manager.
SKILL SETS
High Leadership and Communication Skills
Advanced Analytical Skills
Advanced Excel
SQL is a plus
Ability to manage stress and workload
2 to 5 years of experience in relevant field
