Head of Retail Products Review & Assessment Unit
About the job
Job Description:
Review and assessment of retail and corporate policies for all product types.
Amend existing credit policies and guidelines based on the request of stakeholders and as a result of relevant impacting factors.
Monitoring and Management of portfolio through monthly portfolio analysis.
Ensure full awareness of developments and updates in regulatory rules, policies and procedures based on released circulars or announcements of the parent company and regulatory bodies (e.g. CBE, ECB) or as advised by control units of the Bank (e.g. Compliance, Legal).
Training and cascading the knowledge to underwriting functions in terms of new policies.
Monitor and track Products financial indicators term of profitability & cost of risk.
Competition benchmarking on a regular basis to enhance the product suite.
Analyze the consistency between the product catalogue, the implemented process and policy
Enhance the existing framework of product related documentation, controls and applied criteria
Responsible for the review, analysis of the newly proposed products changes
Requirements:
At least 7 Years of Experience in the same function
Credit Certified is a plus
knowledge and experience in retail banking products
Experience and proficiency in action plans to be implemented to safeguard the quality of the portfolio under normal and stressful situations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with different parties
Excellent management and structuring skills for the position
