Communications Specialist
About the job
CCBE is looking for a passionate communications specialist with exceptional public speaking and writing skills. A communications specialist is expected to be a strategic thinker with particular attention to detail, working well under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
Develop digital content that engages a wide range of audience and reflects the foundation’s values and voice
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
To ensure success, communications specialists should be innovative, organized, and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players.
Job description:
Develop effective corporate communication strategies
Administer internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)
Draft content (e.g. press releases) for mass media or company website
Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences
Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements etc.
Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copy for advertisements or articles
Working with the Communications department to advance strategies for paid social media promotions
Requirements:
0-2 years’ experience
Solid understanding of project management principles
Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
Intellectual Curiosity, Flexibility and a desire to tackle challenging problems.
Proficient command of English
AUC Graduate – BSc/BA in public relations, communications, Media or relevant field
