Network Manager
About the job
Manage and coordinates network area including H/W & data networks to support the computing needs of TALAAT MOUSTAFA GROUP. Responsible for network stability, efficiency, and security of all TMG networks. Also, participate in group IT service HUB technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration of new network solution The goal is to ensure smooth operation of TMG network to provide maximum performance and availability for TMG IT business users (staff, clients, customers, suppliers, etc.). To consistently improve IT network services, the responsibilities include developing and maintaining country network policies and procedures, ensuring projects are completed within budget guidelines, and maintaining best practices for TMG networks.
Job Description:
Managing Network Service via:
Ensure stability of all existing information technology network hardware, and services to increase organization productivity.
Creating and monitoring the vendor / Group escalations and the needed support for critical issues, acting as a bridge between the vendors’ engineering resources and IT service HUB staff to ensure that vendors’ services are provided according to group IT service HUB policies and standards.
Managing TMG network LAN (Active/Passive), WAN” in terms of design, configuration, installation, implementation, security, testing, monitoring, and documentation.
Managing TMG integration with the network group to align the IT environment with the group IT network service HUB standards.
Support network service delivery staff and end-users to ensure rapid resolution of IT issues and high-level services.
Manage to apply Group’s IT service HUB Policies & Procedures via:
Establish and implement backup and recovery policies and practices of IT network services to secure critical business data from loss.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of equipment data for the IT network services including configuration templates, approved hardware lists, revisions, and design templates, to secure network’ information for easy retrieval in future projects.
Developing and updating country network disaster recovery plans.
Ensure and review standard operating procedures for Systems processes to guarantee that, IT network services are provided according to group IT service HUB policies and procedures.
Group IT service HUB Hardware and Software Asset Management:
Sizing and configuring the group IT network hardware and firmware upgrade requirements
Manage and keep a record of all group IT network inventory assets, including hardware, peripherals, licenses equipment, etc… to track and protect network services assets in case of any disaster.
Group IT service HUB network Security management:
Develop and set the Group IT network disaster recovery plans which represent all scope of IT network service HUB activities to sustain & recover the critical IT network services and restoration of business processes to ensure that the business continuity plans are emplace.
Manage to mitigate new security risks to take proper action and ensure that the group Network is immune against new threats and vulnerabilities.
Prepare and provide audits with the necessary information regarding the group IT network services that match the IT service HUB standard security level.
Design appropriate processes for her/his job and ensure controls are operating with reference to TMG internal control framework.
Develop and update documentation of the processes and controls under her/his responsibilities, ensure the procedures comply with the Group policies and procedures and Internal control standards
Define action plan and ensure appropriate follow-up and completion (update procedure, implement a new control, and other related activities).
Managing TMG Networks:
Support, manage and configure networks based on Systems to stabilize business applications.
Monitor all network HW/IOSs/Apps/Services and ensures its data security and successful recoverability during disasters.
Provide IT network departmental monthly KPIs and work toward improving and enhancing them.
Regularly develop and implement all IT tools that avail the highest secure and reliable network.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent specialized engineering certificate from an accredited university.
Professional Certification: Project management certification is preferable.
CCNA & CCNP is a must CCIE is preferable
Work Experience:
7-10 years experience in the network including at least 3-5 years experience in managing medium to large network projects, experience in multinational environments is preferable.
VOIP hands-on experience is preferable
Language: Arabic Native and excellent command of English
Computer Skills: Good knowledge of computer skills, Technology and Business Solutions, Strong network and Management skills.
