Product Manager, Cards (Egypt CoE)
About the job
Launch & manage end-to-end core & co-branded credit cards within Mashreq portfolio
Managing new product development for Mashreqbank straddling across segments, affinity and co-branded credit cards with like minded partners .
Manage relationship with co-branded card partners
Responsibilities
Responsible for creating the product construct for credit cards across segments which will be the key drivers for future profits and EP.
Responsible for launching new credit cards
Build product constructs to achieve desired penetration in segments identified.
Developing communication to improve brand vibrancy and salience.
Driving research for consumer insights I building and testing product propositions in preferred segments.
Drive the fee income line for the cards business by creating more ‘to buy’ opportunities in the insurance and investments areas.
Responsible for generating cross sell leads through partner database
To implement research findings as evidenced by consumer research and to define areas of alliance and customer benefits to bring best in category product features.
Increase product line sales by constantly recommending product pricing through detailed analysis of segment wise opportunities. ,·
To enhance the scope of business through targeting new segments, processes and and product approaches.
To work with sales to define acquisition channels, incentive schemes, sales promotions to meet brand sales objectives.
To manage the co-branched relationships to ensure alignment with the
Overall business needs of the business
Qualifications
Post Graduate I MBA in marketing management.
6-8 years marketing and brand management experience with specific exposure to a leading credit cards business.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to be able to implement and coordinate new product launches, product revamps and other promotions, obtaining internal cross-functional support.
Excellent analytical skills are required to be able to track portfolio trends and identify weaknesses I opportunities to capitalize on the acquisition opportunities.
Good PC skills and system I process understanding to enable the individual to be ‘hands-on’ when involved with new product development, process automations and MIS generation
