About the job
Job Responsibilities

Define the PMO strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common project management methodology,

standards and tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
· Lead the execution of PMO governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all projects and
program activities.
· Manage inter-dependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables,
risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored
and evaluated.
· Identify and define the major strategic issues for the organization and integrate diverse stakeholder interests with the
bank’s broader agenda to manage the development and prioritization of project initiatives and to proactively understand
and mitigate risks.
· Define business strategies and organizational policies to enable strategic coordination of multiple major projects and
initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of projects.
· Foster collaborative relationships and mutually supportive relationships with project team and senior stakeholders
assess cross functional project team capability as well as provide coaching, training and support to enhance delivery
capability of project / program team.
· Continuously acquire and train resources with possibility for exporting such within the business as fully functional
business and operation resources.
· Develop proper schemes for pre- empties risk management of promises to reduce unanticipated project changes in
scope, cost, time or quality. Ensure proper escalation matrices designed to ensure delivery is always according to
predefined schedule, budget and scope.
· Balance and prioritize the use of resources and tools across multiple projects and programs to maintain optimum
utilization of resources at the benefit of successful project delivery

Qualifications & Experience
· University degree in Engineering, technology, and / or business economics.
· A minimum of 15 years in project management preferably in the field of banking and financial services.
· Prior experience of a minimum 15-20 years in people management and senior leadership
· Prior experience in banking operations or information technology of a minimum of 8 years is preferable.
· Certification in project management as project management professional or PRINCE 2
· Fleuency in Arabic and English is a must.
· Understanding of financial budget management and cost – benefit analysis scheme.
· Mastery of office tools is a MUST with demonstrated experience in presentation skills
