About the job
Salahaldin International School in Cairo is looking to appoint enthusiastic and experienced teachers in Math, Science, English Social Studies, Music, P.E, Computer and Arabic for meeting the extra demands due to increasing the number of classrooms.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who has excellent qualifications and passion for joining one of the leading schools in using technology in Egypt.
Applications are welcome from professional men and women with qualifications to degree level or of equivalent capability, with experience of at least three years of working in international schools with appropriate references.
It will require a person with a wide range of skills, of which the following are essential:
Certified in relevant subject area knowledge and experience in the subject area with appropriate references
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Operational understanding of the Internet and web-related technologies
Possesses strong oral and written communication skills relevant to the respective position and subject(s) taught
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Conscientious attention to detail.
Calm, confident attitude. Smart appearance.
Ability to adapt quickly to different situations.
Ability to work in a team as well as individually.
Proactive, creative ability to spot problems – and solutions – in advance.
Accepts responsibility and is self-motivated
Demonstrates strong work ethics to achieve school-wide goals
Displays effective multi-tasking and time management skills
Works independently with minimal direct supervision
Utilizes all required SIS computer applications, forms, and documentation
It is mandated that the teacher possess a fluent command of both spoken and written English
All instructions are offered exclusively in the English language
