Cobrand & Strategic Alliances Manager
About the job
Job Purpose:
Manage existing strategic alliances and ensure establishing new ones in an aim to benefit the cards business in terms of incremental revenues, extended branding of ADIB products through associating it with High end reputable alliances/Brand Names, & enhancing value offered to ADIB customers.
key Accountabilities:
-Ensure full ownership of existing strategic relations & related cobrand products in all aspects: acquisition, product development, value preposition, portfolio actions, loyalty points handling, Complaints management…etc.
-Monitor performance of competitors for cobranded & affinity cards as well as all strategic tie ups to ensure that the bank maintains and develops its competitive position.
-Align current & future Cobrand products’ sales plan with total cards business budget and ensure proper alignment & implementation by Cards acquisition manager.
-Identify training and development requirements for both ADIB & strategic partners staff, in conjunction with training department and ensure that staff is adequately skilled to meet Business requirements in terms of service levels and CM service/convenience.
-Prepare and Carry out advertisement and promotion activities related to existing & future strategic alliances in conjunction with Retail Sales & Marketing Departments.
-Finalize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal Departments/ units/ Card Business team members with regard cobranded cards falling under managed strategic alliances to achieve improvements in turnaround time which will also help increase external customer satisfaction. (Develop tight but simple processes)
-Monitor strategic alliances / partnership associated risks closely and take prompt remedial action when required in coordination with relevant departments to ensure good risk quality.
-Handle exiting & future Cobrand products operational and financial business requirements in coordination with Ops and finance team.
-Develop New Co-branded card programs & strategic merchant alliances in line with ADIB Cards & Consumer Banking strategy
-Develop and successfully deliver ADIB own loyalty platform ensuring that it provides unique value to ADIB customers and using innovative ideas/platforms/prepositions
-Ensure building solid & structured reporting system between ADIB & its strategic partners covering main KPIs of cards business (i.e. sales, complaints, leads management…etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor degree, Masters is preferable
Job specific Skills:
-Business development skills, Sharp Project management skills, communication skills, results oriented, excellent problem solving & negotiation skills
-Minimum Experience: 10 years in managing strategic partnerships/alliances (experience in cards Co-brand products / banking strategic alliances is a plus)
Generic Skills:
Microsoft Office, Fluent Arabic & English (written & spoken)
Good communication & negotiation skills.
