1 – EMAIL SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR – (210000GK)

Description

Job Purpose:
To act as a 2nd level support for any e-mail related problem troubleshooting to ensure the smooth work and data flow, avoiding any disruptions to the bank’s operations.

Job Description:
Email Systems Management

  1. Install, upgrade, monitor, and maintain CIB’s E-Mail system (Lotus Domino Server) required for CIB business communication.
  2. Troubleshoot mail routing, replication, calendaring and scheduling to provide the best possible mail service level and availability.
  3. Administrate and manage collaboration servers such as Traveler as well as E-mail Content filtering (Anti-Spam/Virus) to facilitate access to business mails with security/privacy control.
  4. Ensure all messaging system components are maintained at the appropriate patch and software levels as per Vendor support matrix and recommendations to minimize operational risks, and implement if necessary according to the Change Management Cycle.
  5. Manage and test the Disaster Recovery (DR) for messaging system components to guarantee the consistency of the configuration, patches and other recommendations as per Vendor recommendations.
  6. Monitor messaging system performance to guarantee system availability/stability is optimized.
  7. Resolve escalated Service Desk Messaging system problems to guarantee that business services are always reachable.
  8. Apply regular health-check on the messaging system components in order to optimize performance and to proactively detect possible failures/problems.
  9. Deploy e-Mail security baseline, audit requirements and Payment Card Industry (PCI) related requirements on all Messaging system components while abiding to the Change Management Process.

  10. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
    Day-to-day Operations
  11. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Infrastructure Management department to ensure continuity of work.
    Compliance
  12. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor degree of Computer Engineering, Computer science or equivalent education
For Administrator: Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in a dedicated E-mail administration role
For Senior Administrator: Minimum 4 – 5 years of experience in a dedicated E-mail administration role
Excellent Knowledge in Email products and technologies:
MS Exchange 2013 to 2019.
MS Exchange ActiveSync.
MS Exchange Archiving.
Mail Gateways & Content filtering solutions.
Knowledge in CommVault or other e-mail archiving solutions is a plus.
HCL Lotus Domino knowledge is a plus
Mandatory Certifications:
Microsoft E-mail administration certification.

2 – MICROSOFT & VMWARE SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR – (210000GL)

Description

Job Purpose:
To administer all Microsoft Windows/VMWare platforms and related services availability, performance, security and competency in order to ensure Service Quality and end user satisfaction

Job Description:
Microsoft Server Administration

  1. Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows/VMWare operating systems, to ensure that all requests and incidents are documented on HP Service Manager and Request Fulfilment modules.
  2. Maintain, configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory to integrate business applications, and facilitate CIB’s employees’ day to day work.
  3. Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft/VMWare -based application servers and different features (DFS, DNS, DHCP, IIS).
  4. Perform ongoing performance monitoring and resources utilization analysis to ensure that existing resources are utilized efficiently.
  5. Responsible for administration, management and troubleshooting all Virtual Desktop and Applications solution infrastructure serving the different bank users & departments,
  6. Plan, arrange and perform operating systems/software upgrades and patching, abiding by Change Management cycle.
  7. Conduct health checks, risk assessments for the Microsoft Windows/ VMWare based platform and services and, to ensure that the application is working properly and problem free.
  8. Support the bank strategy for implementing security baseline and apply PCI recommendation.
  9. Ensure Microsoft based platforms and services’ availability in Disaster recovery situations.
  10. Support in troubleshooting of Microsoft SQL Server with SQL DB Administrator whenever needed.
  11. Provide support for users, IT vendors, and other administrators during problems troubleshooting, projects, and implementations within scope.
  12. Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation and provide continuous support to resolve critical issues on a 24/7 basis to maximize availability for the bank business services.
  13. Participate in writing technical procedures, run books, documentations for Microsoft platform services.

Good Knowledge in using the following technologies:
Microsoft software products: (LDAP, Active Directory, IIS, DFS, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking).
Storage, Security and Networking concepts
VMWare: ESXi, vCenter, vMotion and DRS
Citrix Xen App and Desktop technologies
Operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Linux
Others: LDAP, TCP/IP, NFS, SAN and Direct Attached Storage, High Performance Networking
Recommended Certifications:
Microsoft Technical Certificates
VMware Certified Professional
Citrix technical Certificates

Skills:
