Demonstrator in physics
About the job
Summary
We are looking to hire a fresh Physics demonstrator to join us in our mission of educating. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating technology and education to create engaging physics content with refined educational value.
Responsibilities
Expected to complete all training required by the School of Physics.
Attend meetings as required by the Subject Coordinator.
Conduct laboratory sessions to the standard of the School of Physics. This includes preparing before lab sessions and assists students during the laboratory sessions.
Work closely with students during lab sessions and guide them through experiments.
Mark students’ lab workbooks and provide timely feedback to students accordingly.
Manage and administrate students’ results.
Keep accurate attendance record in conjunction with the Subject Coordinator and in line with University Policy.
Promote & uphold laboratory safety.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Bachelor of Science in physics.
Experience in teaching Physics is a plus
Experience in curriculum development is a plus
