Job Description
Greet patients and visitors
Answer the phone/ take messages/ take phone orders from physicians.
File lab orders.
Scan lab documents.
Respond to and send faxes.
Receive specimens.
Understand the need for special timing for collection (e.g. creatinine clearance)
Proper specimen labeling
Obtain appropriate clinical data, when indicated.
Perform patient registrant.
Prepare spreadsheets.
Type lab documents.

Job Requirements
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role is a must
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
High school degree
