General Accountant for PANATIX

Job Description
Manage all accounting transactions
Bookkeeping/Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Reconcile accounts with the general ledger to ensure all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards.
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available
when needed.
Prepare and submit monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reports required by the company as well as by authorities.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Assist with other accounting projects.
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations

Job Requirements
Work experience as an Accountant including experience within AP/AR or GL function
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience in Contracting and Cost Accounting.
Experience in Importing and Exporting related accounting.
Good knowledge of Egyptian Tax laws and their updates.
Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software like ERPNext is a plus.
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Fluent in English.
BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
