Consultant – Web and Communications Editor for World Health Organization

Consultant at World Health Organization

The Consultant is not expected to travel during this assignment outside of the duty station in Cairo, Egypt.

All travel arrangements to take up the assignment (if necessary) will be made by WHO – WHO will not be responsible for tickets purchased by the Consultant without the express, prior authorization of WHO.

Visas requirements: it is the consultants responsibility to fulfil visa requirements and ask for visa support letter(s) if needed.
Remuneration

Payband B:
minimum USD3,955 per month.

The Programmes Specific Objectives Are To
Reach the public, donors, media and other stakeholders with accurate, timely and appealing information through traditional and innovative platforms to:
promote WHOs impact and credibility as the leading voice for public health;
highlight heath needs across the Region through human stories; and
communicate health risks and dispel misinformation.

Enhance WHOs capacity to communicate for health, foster partnerships with the media and other key stakeholders, and attract resources for strategic priorities.
Reaffirm WHO staffs knowledge of, and pride in the work of the Organization.
Advise senior management on issues that affect WHOs reputation and credibility.)
