Summary:
The U.S. Mission in Cairo/Egypt is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Budget Analyst in the Department of Defense.
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time – 40 hours per week.

Duties
The incumbent serves as a budget analyst and administrative assistant to carry out the duties of the foreign military sales (FMS) Cairo operation section. He/She performs various financial and administrative procedural duties in support of the Air Force Security Assistance and cooperation Directorate (AFSAC) Egypt FMS cases. Incumbent processes payment for pay, communication, utilities, leases and all other running expenses. Incumbent is responsible for scanning and uploading all supporting documents into an electronic library as per the Air Force record keeping regulation.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Two years of progressively responsible customer service experience and the understanding of bookkeeping principles is required. Must have processed and calculated pay for a small organization.


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a good working knowledge of office management procedures and excellent secretarial, organizational, writing etiquette and Microsoft office skills.

Education Requirements:
University degree.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: (Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of English is required. (this will be tested).
(Fluent) speaking/reading/writing of Arabic is required.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to read complex instructions and regulations in English and relating them to issues at hand. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
