REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Essential: A first-level university degree in communications, journalism, marketing, humanities, social sciences, health or a related field.
Desirable: Proven knowledge of public health and/or a degree in health communications.
Experience
Essential: At least five years related experience in the field of health communications including developing and implementing communications content, plans, campaigns and strategies, preferably on Health Systems topics such as promoting Primary Health Care, Access to Health Services, and Universal Health Coverage.
Desirable: Work experience at the United Nations System (particularly WHO) and/or with international exposure (e.g. international NGOs, multilateral corporations, diplomatic missions, etc) in developing advocacy/communication materials (e.g.media/social media content) and campaigns to promote and advocate public health and sustainable development initiatives. Experience in handling global or multi-country health communication/promotion campaigns will be considered as anadditional asset.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at EGP 851,861 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.

المكتب الإقليمي للمنظمة بمدينة نصر – القاهرة
بالإضافة لتنسيق الجهود العالمية لمراقبة نشوء أمراض العدوى، كمرض السارس (بالإنجليزية: SARS) ومرض البرداء ومرض الإيدز، ترعى منظمة الصحة العالمية برامج للوقاية والعلاج لهذه الأمراض. وتدعم منظمة الصحة العالمية تطوير وتوزيع لقاحات (تطعيمات) Vaccines آمنة وفعالة، والكواشف الصيدلانية pharmaceutical diagnostics، والأدوية. وبعد أكثر من عقدين على مكافحة الجدري Smallpox أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية في 1980 التمكن من القضاء على الجدري.وهذا أول مرض يتم استئصاله بمجهود بشري. وتسعى المنظمة لاستئصال شلل الأطفال (بالإنجليزية: polio) في السنوات القليلة القادمة. وتسعى المنظمة لتعزز أمور صحية أخرى غير مكافحة الأمراض ومنها تشجيع استهلاك الخضار والفواكة ومحاربة انتشار التدخين في العالم، وقد أصدرت تقريراً عن أهم الأخطار الصحية عالمياً جاء التدخين فيه أحد أهم عشرة أخطار صحية. ومن نجاحات المنظمة عملها في تطور لقاح للإنفلونزا، وتجري المنظمة العديد من الأبحاث ومنها عن تأثير الحقول الكهرطيسية (الهاتف الخلوي) على الصحة، وتحدث بعض أبحاث المنظمات جدلاً حول نتائجها فقد ناقشت شركات التبغ أبحاث التبغ كما تناقش حالياً شركات صناعة السكر تقريراً فنياً أوصى بعدم تجاوز نسبة السكر 10% من القوت الصحي.
